The ways to have a quality sleep is not difficult to do at all. We should realize that it is an essence to a good health and living. These are related to each other. Actually, an eight hours sleep for adults and nine hours sleep for children may not be feasible in the present lifestyle. Yet, a study by Stanford's the American Sleep Apnea Association and Sleep Disorders Clinic and Research Center demonstrated that a sleep deprivation or lack of sleep causes many terrible effects, one is the same effect as drinking alcohol. Here are 10 tips to help you have a better and smarter sleep at night. Let's do it.


- Strictly maintain your routine in sleeping time. Do not oversleep on weekends.
- Do not eat too much before going to bed. Eating at least 2 hours or more before bedtime is highly recommended. You also should not have high-fat or tasty food and alcohol.
- No having coffee or smoking before going to bed. It is highest effective if you refrain from them.
- Good health surely comes from fitness or exercise. It helps you sleep better at night as well.
- The bed room temperature need to be balanced and your feet have to be warm, I suggest you should wear socks for better sleep.
- The body clock is very important to have a good health. It's better if you sleep only at night time. Taking a 20 minute nap is permitted in the afternoon. Your room must be dark as well.
- Avoid noises. Your silent room results in deeply sleep.
- Comfortable bed is very recommended. Choose one that can stand for your body weight.
- Once you finish taking a shower, you should immediately go to bed. Taking a shower with warm water makes you feel more comfortable and relaxed.
- Avoid sleeping pills. If you have to, get consulting from the doctor first.
