Importance of Yoga and the basic Yoga lessons for women Starting the day with yoga is the best way for a woman, who does not want a life full of stress and pressure, and wants to keep herself fit. When you wake up in the morning, get off your bed and sit on the floor using a mat, and bring your knees up to the chest. Next push your lugs up in the air and lie down on your bottoms with the legs high up and raise yourself up. This should be followed by standing up, bending forward and dropping the forehead up to the shins till you feel ready to move on and start the day with your favorite toothbrush!! As people normally do, a morning does not have to start with a coffee to wake yourself. A lot of women have the habit to start their day with grudges against them, as soon as they wake up. Some are used to caffeine, some to cigarettes; a few of them go exercising, whereas some may not. A lot of fat reducing and fitness programs are becoming frequent trend setters, resulting in shaking your body without your own rhythm, jog on the footpaths or doing fifty leg raises. When you wake up in the morning, always be calm, and don’t involve yourself into rigorous activities as soon as you open your eyes. Life is not running away, so just relax and concentrate and move with determination not with competition. Your approach o life, well being and fitness should be smooth. Never be ruthless or agitated with yourself, else you will end up doing the same with others. Yoga comprises of different postures of the body, the best would be to concentrate on the 28 different postures from this 5000 year old technique, yoga, which derived its name from the Sanskrit terms for sun and the moon, combined together to form this one word. You should ideally choose exercises like deep breathing, stretches, etc. It is considered to be a really good workout, and does not give, though it strains the body to make you feel expanded. If your body has sustained some kind of an injury, yoga would be the ideal cure. It helps in keeping your body flexible, defining the muscles and even building strength. It is suggested to spend sixty to ninety minutes a day for 5-6 days a week, before having breakfast. If you want to balance your life and be healthy, you may implement these basics of yoga. Do not try to go for things which suit you most, for example you choose to lift weights if you have muscles. Always try to target things which are the hardest for you. Whenever you have time between exercises, make use of that time by talking to yourself. Asking a few questions to yourself should be sufficient. Some questions asking yourself about your feelings on that particular day or moment, your mental and physical state, any special that needs attention, etc. It is recommended to practice yoga daily, either early in the mornings or the evenings, with a difference of a minimum of one hour, if you had light meals or 3-4 hours if you have dined heavily. In case you feel hungry before yoga, you may consider taking some milk, fruit juice or tea.
